Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide regular updates to brokers and shippers on location and ETA of loads
• Manage shippers and receivers to coordinate ETA, address delays and work around issues, etc
• First point of contact for drivers for dispatch, regular updates and to address any issues / questions drivers may have
• Work with Shippers, Carriers, and Dispatchers to manager schedules.
• Resolve freight discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Respond to customer concerns and queries professionally.
• Maintain positive and productive communication and relationship with customers, carriers, shippers, and receivers at all times.
• Maintain strong relationship with multiple carriers

Skills

• Excellent spoken and written English
• Ability to deal with the unexpected and think proactively
• Excellent knowledge of US geography
• Willingness to deal with a high paced environment where there are simultaneous demands from multiple individuals
• Ability to manage drivers when delays and other complications arise
• Able to organize information quickly and communicate the same in a coherent and concise manner
• Excel knowledge.

Experience

• Preferably, exposure to the trucking sector through IT or logistics company
• Brokerage and dispatch experience a plus
• Fresh can apply as well.
