Position: Experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper (Remote)
Location: Pakistan
Firm Location: Germany

About the Role:
Our tax firm in Germany, is expanding its team and looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper to join us remotely from Pakistan. This is a unique opportunity for a Pakistani professional to apply their expertise in an international context and support the financial operations of our German practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage bookkeeping and accounting functions for a portfolio of German clients.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns in compliance with German standards.
• Ensure all financial records are kept in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and tax regulations.
• Collaborate with our on-site team to deliver timely and accurate financial data.

Requirements:

• Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field is required.
• Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
• Professional Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates holding or pursuing qualifications such as ACCA, CA, CPA.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with DATEV software is a significant advantage. Experience with other major ERP or accounting software is also valued.
• Language Skills:
• English: Professional proficiency is required.
• German: Basic German language skills are strongly preferred for understanding financial regulations and effective communication.
