Location: Remote

Remuneration: $200 per article (With potential for increased pay after a three-month internship based on quantity & quality of work.)
We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Analyst to join our research team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of international relations, defense policies, and global security challenges. This role involves conducting research, producing insightful articles, and contributing to policy recommendations on critical geopolitical and security matters.

Essential Requirements:

• Expertise in international relations, geopolitics, and defense issues.
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to produce high-quality reports and articles.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to convey complex ideas concisely.
• Experience in cybersecurity, counter-terrorism, or strategic policy analysis (preferred).
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines consistently.

Overview:
The Defence Research Institute (DRI) is a multidisciplinary think tank specializing in technology, defense, strategic security, and cybersecurity. Our team comprises experts with diverse backgrounds who have contributed to international projects on terrorism prevention, cybercrime investigation, and security policy development.
We conduct in-depth research on various global security issues, including international relations, geopolitics, cybersecurity, and cyber defense.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Degree in International Relations, Political Science, Strategic Studies, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Research Expertise: Proven experience in policy research, geopolitical analysis, or defense strategy.
• Writing Excellence: Strong ability to produce high-quality reports, articles, and policy briefs.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret global security developments and provide actionable insights.
• Independence & Initiative: Ability to work remotely, meet deadlines, and contribute proactively.
• Preferred Experience: Background in terrorism prevention, cyber defense, or international security projects is a plus.
