Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Bachelor's Degree and years of job-related web/app/SaaS development experience
• Prior working and hands-on experience with MERN - MongoDB, Express, React, Node
• Utilize AWS services (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway etc) to develop and maintain a cloud-based SaaS platform to deliver an integrated all-in-one and first-class digital experience
• Work closely with product development teams (onsite and offshore) to implement our cloud-based web and mobile applications
• This role will have specialized knowledge in all stages of software development including having the functional ability to take a concept/prototypes and turn it into the finished product while understanding how everything works from end-to-end
• The position requires the ability to TDD and write, run and maintain Unit Tests
• This role works in a fast-paced environment where Agile/Scrum and DevOps is embraced, and innovation is encouraged
• Manage/coordinate other Developers/team members and own Sprint deliverables 
• Create and manage various APIs using best practices utilizing Postman and JSON
• Must have prior hands-on experience and deep understanding of MERN, real-time APIs, web services, service workers, manifest files, security, code profiling and optimization
• Expert in at least two of the following OO languages: Java, Python, TypeScript, PHP
• Solid database experience with SQL and NoSQL document-based DB (MongoDB)
• AWS experience with Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, CodeCommit, WebSocket, SES, Cognito
• In-depth knowledge and fluent with front-end languages and frameworks - HTML5, CSS, JS, ReactJS, Bootstrap
