Job Description

The WordPress Developer must design and implement websites for us using the WordPress creation tool. The developer will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, including the implementation of themes and plugins. The goal would be to create attractive and user-friendly websites according to our specifications.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with different teams to discuss website design and function.
• Designing and building the website front-end.
• Creating the website architecture.
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
• Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
• Conducting website performance tests & troubleshooting content issues.
• Developing and implementing code with an understanding of cross-browser compatibility, web standards, SEO best practices and performance optimization.

Job Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field with 3 years+ experience.
• Deep understanding of web development technologies.
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
• Experience in developing, deploying and maintaining site architecture and content using WordPress.
• Experience in designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
• Good understanding of CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
• Passion to learn and implement new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
