Job Description

• Sound knowledge of building construction practices.
• Should be well conversant with the stages of brick and mortar structure, plumbing, electrical etc, works being done during the construction.
• Should be well versed with architectural/Working drawings.
• Supervise residential construction projects from start till finish.
• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
• Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
• Assess potential risks, materials and costs.
• Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.
• Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.
• Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials.
• Manage the sub-con teams.
• Guide the construction teams in line with the architectural drawings.
• Quantity surveying and quality assurance.
• Project logistical management and record keeping.
• Project management skills.
• Must have supervised 4 to 5 residential construction projects in the past.
• Must demonstrate civil engineering skills to prove his credentials.

• Must possess Diploma in Civil Engineering from a renowned institute.
• Requisite certifications.
• Proven working experience in civil engineering
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD,Civil 3D or similar
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc
• Project management and supervision skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have atleast 4 to 5 years of experience.
